Because English users often use sarcasm and ironic net speak a lot, I think this is pretty important. I'd hate for the Chinese users to think we're all braindead txtspk monkeys. There is a general cultural divide in humor; more often than not, should one try using sarcasm or irony in a conversation (in Chinese or English) with a Chinese speaker, the Chinese speaker will take what you say at face value. In addition, the ideaof purposefully using poor English/net speak is an almost uniquely Tumblr quirk.

比如说他们的文字post没有意思！请稍等。这是他们的幽默；我们的文化和幽默不同。我知道说中文的时候您总是说你自己的想法。这是容易；没有irony和sarcasm。

irony：（反讽）为说话或文章时一种带有讽刺意味的语气或写作技巧，单纯从字面上不能了解其真正要表达的事物，而事实上其原本的意义正好是字面上所能理解的意涵的相反，通常需要从上下文及语境来了解其用意。（从wikipedia）

sarcasm：（讽刺）但是sarcasm是更微妙。

• A告诉了B，“哇你打网球那么好！“可是意思不一样。他的本意是一点点恶毒。A真觉得B打球得不好。

• C给D一个不好礼物。D说了“感谢！感谢！我很高兴！“但是D的本意不同！他觉得这个礼物不好。

说话的时候美国人可能强调sarcastic词。例如D说了“我很高兴”；所以他不高兴。

重要：

• 还有网上的反讽！打字的时候青年会用讽刺得俚语。例如我打了“omg thx ur da best ！！！1！！xD“；这是我的故意。我知道我能打“thanks, you're the best“但我不要。网上俚语比正确讲话随便。
